Gifted by Berenice Abbott in the late 1930s-40s to a young artist she met in New York City. At the time, these photographs were being considered for the Changing New York series. Thence by descent to the current owner.

Image in good condition when viewed in raking light; small corner missing upper left; small, crease lower left edge; some slight wear to verso.
