Early 19th century, in the Georgian style featuring fluting to the lid and body, column over paw feet, raised on a pedestal base over ball feet, with an urn form burner, double lion mask ring handles, and a uniform ball finial, with engraved decoration and monogram to the shoulder.

Use wear and rubbing to the silver plate from use, the lid with warping, a few minor dents and areas of resoldering.
