20th century, each of baluster form rising to a flared trumpet neck, porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue with scrolling floral vines enclosing a central vertical panel of stylized auspicious Chinese characters, below a band of flowering plants and above a lappet border at the foot, the necks are flanked by pairs of faux handles of a mother and baby foo lion, the rim is decorated with a key-fret border, a lovely auspicious pair.
Each 23 1/2 x 9 x 9 in.
