Early 20th century, likely WWI era, wire bound leather or sharkskin grip beneath a three bar guard, nickel-plated blade with within a leather wrapped wooden scabbard, the blade featuring stylized foliate decoration with Arabic script along the ricasso area, possibly "Arab Legion" or from the "British Force" in Egypt, the formation established in August 1914 to administer garrison forces in Egypt at the beginning of the First World War.
