Meiji period (1868-1912), late 19th century, porcelain decorated in the Imari palette of iron red, underglaze cobalt blue, and gilt accents, the exterior richly painted with flowering branches, peonies, scrolling foliage, includes a group of six dishes, which includes two pairs.
