Mid-19th century, unmarked, seven pieces including: a very finely decorated teapot with tall domed cover (9 3/4 in.); an oval dish with flower and butterfly motif incorporating Chinese longevity symbols (10 1/2 x 8 in.); a sugar bowl with cover and matching cream pitcher, each with gilt monogram to underside; two baskets (8 1/4 x 7 in., 8 1/2 x 7 1/4 in.); and a shallow dish with scalloped rim, with gilt monogram to underside (9 3/4 in. diameter).
From the Collection of the late John Ferguson, Chesterfield, Virginia The cover of sugar bowl with repaired break; pitcher with hairline and glued repair; small chip to rim of dish; the smaller basket with breaks and repairs; minor wear to enamel and gilding on each piece commensurate with age and limited use.
