A Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Mandarin Jardiniere and Underplate

19th century, an octagonal tapering jardiniere finely enameled in famille rose palette with court ladies and attendants in a pavilion garden setting, the conforming undertray decorated with floral sprays and scrolling borders, each raised on short shaped feet.

Good estate condition; with dirt and wear to interior well from use; a slight nick to rim of jardiniere; scattered rubbing and loss to enamels and gilt.
