A Chinese Export Lacquered and Gilded Tea Caddy

Mid-19th century, oblong faceted form featuring a gilt scene of figures in a courtyard scene to the lid and landscape decoration to the sides, raised on four paw feet, the interior with two original engraved white metal cannisters.
