Germany, circa 1950s, lacquered metal, the instrument stamped with serial number 505112, labeled for 10x, 20x, and 30x zoom specs, and signed "E. LEITZ/ WETZLAR / GERMANY between the knob adjustment, additionally stamped "Germany" to the removable eyepiece tubes, mounted on an adjustable rod base; likely used for conservation projects, and looking at larger objects that do no fit on a stage.
15 1/4 x 8 x 8 in.
Some rust spotting to rod; spotting and oxidation greening to areas of the metal; some surface scratches to black enamel; not tested.
