Meiji period (1868-1912), porcelain decorated in the Imari palette of iron red, underglaze cobalt blue, and gilt accents, the exterior richly painted with flowering branches, peonies, scrolling foliage, includes: a pair of plates (8 1/4 in. diameter), a vase (10 3/8 in.), a charger (12 1/4 in. diameter) (with large break and glued repair to rim), an oval bowl (2 x 7 1/2 x 6 in.), and a fan shaped dish (7 1/4 in. across) (shallow chip and some roughness to rim).
