Late 19th century, clear blown glass trumpet vase with polished pontil, thick silver deposit with engraved classical motifs including artist's palette, ewer, lute and lyre flanked by caryatids, central presentation monogram "JHC to FRC, 1870 1895," the silver marked "CH.W" in the engraved design near the base of the stem, underside edge numbered 2348.
