The Chicago Stock Exchange was originally built by architects Louis H. Sullivan (American, 1856-1924) and Dankmar Adler (American, born Germany, 1844-1900). It was a landmark Arts & Crafts commercial building built in 1893-1894, having 13 stories and 480 offices, and was their largest commission after their landmark Romanesque style Auditorium Building (1889). The Stock Exchange Building was demolished in 1972.
Surface rust; otherwise good structural condition; no supporting documents of provenance included.
