Late Qing dynasty or early Republic period, early 20th century, the pair cast in relief with phoenix handles, floral reserves, and scrolling foliate motifs, raised on an openwork pedestal, the dark patinated bronze surfaces accentuate the finely cast and chased details throughout, unmarked.
