Late Meiji to Taishō period, early 20th century, the baluster form cloisonné vase decorated with a black bird perched amid blossoming cherry branches over a light turquoise blue ground, the foot encircled with a geometric enamel border, vase has been drilled and fitted as a lamp with bronze mounts, presented together with a lampshade.
