Meiji or Taisho period, early 20th century, a yellow ground vase very finely decorated in silver wire with a pair of quails together beneath flowering autumns grasses, silver rims, a
jungin (pure silver) mark to the foot rim, an unidentified artist mark to center of underside.
12 1/2 in.
Scratches to top of body and amid the autumn flowers; some loss and restoration to right below rim to upper left side.
