Early 20th century, the pair of square-section baluster vases with flared necks, the body flanked by a pair of molded mask head with ring faux handles, hand painted in underglaze blue with mounted warriors and attendants beneath a mountainous landscape, rendered in varying tones of cobalt blue, emphasizing depth and movement, underside with light celadon blue glaze.
