Serial number 409610 present on belly of receiver, text of SAVAGE MODEL 99 present on receiver barrel hood, text of .300 SAVAGE present on 24 in. barrel with folding dual elevation blade rear sight and dovetail ramped front sight, tang mounted folding peep sight, manual safety, cocking indicator, checkered capped pistol grip walnut buttstock with lined metal buttplate and checkered walnut forend.

Overall very good condition, matte sheen bluing is healthy with light wear and browning on underside of receiver, clean rifling, moderate screw slot damage, crisp checkering, odd 5/16 in. raised circular entity present on left stock cheek that does not appear to be part of a prior repair, wood finishes show a hunter satin sheen with strong and clean checkering.
