Gifted by Berenice Abbott in the late 1930s-40s to a young artist she met in New York City. At the time, these photographs were being considered for the Changing New York series. Thence by descent to the current owner.

Overall good condition; small, barely-visible edge tear (3/8 in.) upper right; few edge creases/nicks; some spots and toning to verso.
