A Pair of Chinese Fahua Style Turquoise Ground Double Gourd Vases

Republic Period (1912-1949), turquoise flower ground finely decorated in low relief with Buddhist treasure motifs, shaped reserves on each side populated with dragons and fire bands against a yellow cloud ground, yellow bearded chilong dragon handles flank the neck, raised foot decorated with swirling waves, apocryphal Qianlong marks to underside, presented together with fitted carved wood stands.

DOA 16 3/4 x 9 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.

Very good estate condition; a few of the eyes are missing.
