A Large Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Basin Bowl

Qing dynasty (1644-1912), mid to late 19th century, a deep porcelain bowl with flat rim, the interior hand painted in famille rose palette with figures in a garden, one riding a qilin, the wide rim is decorated with floral sprays, the exterior of the bowl has iron red bamboo and orchid, unmarked.

4 1/2 in., 13 3/4 in. diameter

Good estate condition; rubbing and wear with some light loss to the enamels to well of the bowl; small nick to the rim.
