A Pair of Chinese Rosewood Marble Inset Scholar's Table Lanterns

Qing dynasty (1644-1912), late 19th or early 20th century, each of rectangular hollow form with cream colored stone inset panels within hardwood frames, the top and opposing sides pierced with quatrefoil openings.


Each 6 5/8 x 9 1/4 x 6 1/2 in.

Good estate condition; some scratches and wear to wood frames; some scratches to marble; a few stress cracks to wood.
