Qing dynasty (1644-1912), late 19th century, the first a temple style jar with turquoise ground, a pair of phoenix are depicted in vivid enamels amidst large blooming pink peonies, unmarked, presented together with a domed wooden cover with finial (DOA 18 in., 11 in. diameter)(good estate condition; some wear to surface of wooden cover), and a pink ginger jar with pink sgraffito ground very finely hand painted with a pair of phoenix amidst large pink and white peony blossoms, cover is decorated in similar manner, presented on a lovely carved hardwood stand (DOA 14 in., 9 in. diameter)(good estate condition; a hairline crack to rim and glaze slips to cover).
