1982, New Mexico, Maple, Ebony, and Cowhide, a triangular top with inset black and white hide panel rests on a maple frame with dramatic arced legs having ebony inlays, the underside fully finished and with exposed dovetailed joinery and further inlaid details, signed to underside.

Steve has been in the American Studio Craft scene since the beginning in the 1970s, starting with creating artistic boxes. He then moved to furniture production in the 1980s and has shown as several important galleries and exhibitions including SOFA Chicago, the Smithsonian Craft Show, the Philadelphia Furniture Show, the American Craft Museum, and others.
Overall good estate condition; top edge with some minor scuffs.
