Known as the "Father of the Art Furniture Movement", Wendell Castle blurred the line between functional furniture and fine art. Castle’s imaginative and functional sculptures are highly coveted. His work is permanently displayed in over 40 major cultural institutions. You can find his masterpieces at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and even inside the White House.
