The King Cotton Stakes is an annual Thoroughbred horse race held at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Mark J. Scearce cups originated during World War II in Kentucky, when the silversmith began recreating traditional 19th-century Southern mint julep cups. The line became a signature product of Wakefield-Scearce Galleries, emphasizing hand craftsmanship and classic beaded rims. Cups from the presidential series are stamped with an eagle and the initials of the sitting U.S. President, functioning like a hallmark that dates the cup.
