Eight Pieces of Coin Silver Flatware, Most are Retailed by A. E. Warner

Most with retail marks of Andrew Ellicott Warner, Baltimore, Maryland, mid-19th century, including (2) master butter knives, (2) shell spoons; and a gravy ladle; all with period engraved decoration; and (3) teaspoons, one with mark of George Sharpe, Philadelphia, 1850-1874; and a pair with unidentified "J.R." and pseudo hallmarks, monogrammed.

Andrew Ellicott Warner was born in Baltimore in 1786 and died in 1870. He maintained a partnership with his brother, Thomas H. Warner, from 1805-1812.
