The first, a large deep dish decorated in shades of deep cobalt blue with birds and flowers in a lush garden, the rim with alternating auspicious patterns with shaped reserves containing moths and flowering branches, unmarked (3 1/2 in., 17 1/2 in. diameter), the second decorated in lighter shades of cobalt blue with a narrative warrior scene to the center, encircled by a wide scalloped rim with patterned ground surrounding shaped reserves alternating with battling figures and lush floral arrangements, underside with apocryphal six character Kangxi mark within double blue circles (2 1/2 in., 17 1/4 in. diameter).
