Serial number 412612 present on frame behind crane with addition character K present, text of OFFICER'S MODEL 38 present on left side of 6 in. nickel plated barrel with pinned front sight, COLT rampant pony faintly visible on left side of nickel plated frame side plate, checkered back strap, adjustable rear sight, checkered wood grip scales with inlaid medallions, leather holster with basket weave tooling.

Overall very good estate condition, bore is clean and bright with sharp rifling, COLT insignia on side plate is no longer sharp, handful of scattered blemishes similar to light pitting in nature along left side of top strap, pair of chatter scratches along right side of frame forward of cylinder, no screw slot damage found, checkered grip scales remain sharply textured, healthy leather holster.
