Mid-19th century, both unmarked, the first a tea caddy, hinged lidded rectangular form, inlaid kite escutcheon and edge inlays, open interior retaining traces of the original tin lining (4 1/2 x 6 5/8 x 4 1/2 in.); the second a hinged lidded bottle box, with silver toned inlaid edge key and lid escutcheons, twin compartment interior fitted with aubergine upholstery and paper (5 x 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 in.);

Tea caddy with scattered scratches and veneer patches, reset hinges; the second with a few mall veneer chips; minor staining to the interior.
