Serial number 1257AK present on underside of anodized aluminum frame, nickel plated trigger guard, backstrap, hammer, cylinder, cylinder pin and release, ejector rod, grip screw and trigger, COLT rampant pony insignia present on left side of frame beneath the cylinder, text of 1965 - APPOMATTOX COMMEMORATIVE MODEL - 1895 present along left side of 4 3/4 in. barrel, text of COLT SINGLE ACTION FRONTIER SCOUT .22 LR present along right side of barrel, walnut grip scales with inlaid COLT medallions, wooden display case with navy blue velvet and U.S. Grant and Robert E. Lee screen printed on cover.
