Serial number 38197 present on left side of 25 in. half-round matted top rib blued barrel, text of MADE IN GERMANY present on barrel tenon, text of MANUFACTURED BY E. SCHMIDT & HABERMANN, SUHL present on barrel, dovetail rear sight with dual elevation blades and ramped front sight, manual safety, drilled and tapped, jeweled bolt and extractor, butter knife bolt handle, checkered Prince Of Wales grip walnut stock, sling loops.

Overall very good estate condition, lightly frosted bore, exceptionally well made half-round barrel profile, drilled and tapped receiver rings filled with fillister screws, evidence of prior plugged drilling and tapping, well forged butter knife both handle elegantly shaped, well made stock with tight tolerances to metal, no caliber marking present.
