Set of Coin Silver Flatware, Mark of Baldwin Gardner

First half of the 19th century, in the Kings pattern with an armorial monogram of a woven basket in flames, includes (4) dinner forks (8 1/4 in.); and (4) oval bowl spoons (8 1/2 in.). This lot also includes an English silver dinner fork in a similar pattern.

Baldwin Gardiner was active in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1814 to 1817; and in New York, New York from 1827 to 1838. He maintained a partnership of Fletcher & Gardiner from 1815-1822.
