Circa 1930s, the back plate and brass movement signed "TOYO CLOCK / FACTORY /JAPAN," manual wind single coil movement with platform escapement, case comprised of a glass fishbowl enclosing a central post and sphere clock with enamel dial equator, attended by two enamel painted koi fish, over an Art Deco radial spreading terrace, and raised on a platform of ebonized wood with (6) demi-lune stepped metal feet.

5 1/2 x 4 5/8 x 4 1/4 in.

Some spotting to metal; surface wear and paint losses to ebonized base and enamel decoration; movement needs servicing, stops and starts - runs inconsistently; wind mechanism with wear.
