Carved wood with traces of worn red lacquer now presenting as pink pigments over worn black painted surface, five seated Buddhist figures upon a large carved lotus blossom raised on a thick base with carved pearls above stylized lotus blossom petals, above the figures a tall umbrella dome rests on a pole into the base, it is decorated in relief with a carved serpentine rope, there are some metal pieces around the top, the finial appears to be half a vajra, there is a brown wax seal next to one of the seated figures.

Rubbing and wear to the surface; scattered stress cracks to wood; losses to paint and pigments showing white below; scattered nicks and chips to surface; loss to top of finial rim; pole wobbles a little in the base.
