Late 19th century, faux grained and rosewood case featuring ornate marquetry instrument and swag inlays to the hinged lid and obverse panels, opening to single comb instrument with 7 1/4 in. cylinder, with three bells and percussion, all under a hinged glass panel, operated by a manual side crank arm to the left, with stop/start and change/repeat lever to the right, retaining period printed tune card to the lid.

9 1/2 x 20 x 12 in.

Instrument winds and plays at the time of examination but needs servicing; all comb teeth intact; some scratches and surface soiling; tune card with tears; old soldering repair to percussion mallets and later acrylic batter head to drum; later fastener to center bell; later glass and taped glazing.
