Paul Magennis was listed in the 1969 Record of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill October, Number 741 Extra Issue, indicating he was a member of the art department there, and listing his thesis exhibition at Claremont Graduate School 1967-68, and a subsequent exhibition, Ten Artists at Chapel Hill, at the Ackland Art Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, September, 1968.
