A Tibetan Silver Mythical Beast Censer with Inlay

Late 19th century, silver inset with turquoise and coral, two parts with hinge at animal's neck, a mythical beast with Buddhist lion head, qilin style horn to top, large squat body decorated in multi layered cast swirling cloud ground, raised on four feet standing atop a serpentine snake, appears unmarked, silver content untested.

Overall very good estate condition; a small intentional or later push where tail falls on back of figure; some scattered nicks and discoloration.
