2023 Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance Recap
Drive back in time and enjoy this recap of our weekend at the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance.
The Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival speaks to the hearts of true car aficionados. From great company to great expertise, not to mention the welcoming and hospitable atmosphere, car talk at the Hilton Head Concours can last for days...and, indeed, it does. It's not often you have the opportunity to see the famed Marmon "Wasp," that won the very first Indianapolis 500 in 1911, a few yards away from a 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon. It truly is a Concours like no other.
We were pleased to exhibit three vehicles throughout the weekend. The first of which was a 1967 Land Rover IIA SWB, which will be offered in our Collector Car Auction - Decades of Classics Auction on Wednesday, November 15th, beginning at noon. The other two vehicles, a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette and a 2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Coppa Italia, will be offered at an upcoming Collector Car Auction. Stay tuned!
Our Estate & Collector Vehicles Director, Mark Terry, served as a guest judge during the Concours on Sunday. He and his team were given charge in awarding the top cars in the Sporty Car Rare English category.
With history and ingenuity on the field, new and old passions have room to flourish. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible, we look forward to next year!
