Exceptional Bottles in the December 5th Rare Spirits Auction
Our upcoming December sale features an unprecedented number of exceptional and particularly elusive bottles. Highlighted below are just a few of the lots that our Fine Wine & Rare Spirits department is most excited about.

Lot 2002 - A.H. Hirsch Reserve 19 Year Bourbon Whiskey
A.H. Hirsch has long been recognized as a heavyweight in the bourbon world, but this 19 year bottling distilled in 1974 takes things to another level. According to Julian Van Winkle III, only 120 cases were bottled and released to the public, making it an ultimate unicorn collector’s item.
Lot 2041 - Van Winkle Family Reserve 13 Year Rye Whiskey
The Van Winkle name needs little introduction, but this 13 year rye bottling has often flown under the radar compared to its more famous 15, 20, and 23 year bourbon brothers. In our opinion, though, it’s the most unique and exciting of the Van Winkle lineup, and undoubtedly a crown jewel for any collection.
Lot 2117 - Michter's 20 Year Bourbon Whiskey
Every year, bourbon lovers eagerly await the release of the supremely limited-run Michter’s 20 Year. This bottle, from the 2018 batch, has received nearly unanimous adulation from professional reviewers and amateur bourbon aficionados across the board.
Lot 2194 - Bunnahabhain Eich Bhana Lir 46 Year Scotch Whisky
Distilled in 1969, this is the oldest Bunnahbahain whisky ever released and is one of only 198 bottles produced. For any Islay scotch lovers, this unique bottle, handcrafted by Italian glassblowers and metalworkers, represents the holy grail of collector’s items.
Lot 2226 - Macallan Anniversary Malt 25 Year Scotch Whisky
First introduced in 1983 and coveted by collectors all over the world, the Macallan Anniversary Malt 25 Year Scotch saw (mostly) regular annual releases until it was discontinued in 2004. This particular bottle lacks a distillation date on the label, but is thought to be one of the elusive 1980s bottlings filled with distillate from the previously unreleased 1960-61 batch.

Bid on these, and hundreds of other rare and highly collectible bottles through our full Rare Spirits Auction Catalogue, available for pre-bidding now and open for live-online bidding on Friday, December 5th at 10:00 am.
