Retail Fine Wine Event at Leland Little
More Adventures in Wine Event
A Fine Art & Wine Experience
Coming up in just a few weeks on Friday, September 13th from 6:00-7:30 p.m., we’ll be hosting More Adventures in Wine, a follow up to last year’s extraordinarily popular tasting event featuring unique wines from unusual regions or made with uncommon grape varieties. This time around, we’re highlighting four wonderful bottles, including an especially delicious Hungarian sparkling wine that I’m previewing below. As always, our event will include an array of hors d’oeuvres, the opportunity to mingle with other wine lovers, an excellent educational presentation by Assistant Fine Wine Director, Lynne Millies, and the chance to browse our auction gallery and retail fine wine shop! It’s the perfect fun and casual night out for you and your partner or a group of friends.

Read on below for a peek at one of the wines we’ll be tasting, then purchase your tickets here!

2018 Kiralyudvar Tokaji Pezsgo 'Henye' $35

A gorgeous Hungarian sparkling wine from the biodynamic producer Kiralyudvar. Made with the native (but uncommon) Tokaji grapes, Furmint and Harslevelu, this complex and aromatic bubbly spends three years on the lees. The result is a gorgeous nose of tangerine and honeyed apples, and a rich, complex palate lifted by a hint of acid and a slight salinity. The world of sparkling wine just keeps getting more interesting, and this bottle is a prime example of why it pays to look beyond the traditional regions of Champagne, Prosecco, and Cava for quality bubbly.

We hope you’ll join us and taste this wine, as well as three other excellent bottles, on September 13th. Tickets are $35/person and are available now through our Eventbrite page.
