It's Signature Week at Leland Little. Join Claire Fraser, Vice President of Estates & Consignments and Fine Art Director; Allie Masem, Fine Jewelry & Luxury Accessories Director and GIA Graduate Gemologist; and Brian Kuebler, Director of Decorative Arts, Sculpture, & Ceramics, as they discuss important works and collections from our Signature Week Auctions.
Begin the tour with Claire Fraser as she highlights an oil on board painting titled Stapleton Park, Near Pontefract by John Atkinson Grimshaw, which is being offered in our Fine Art Auction. Dated 1878, this piece demonstrates the artist’s masterful command of capturing light. Fraser notes that "the painting almost glows." The tour continues with Allie Masem as she presents an exquisite collection of Burmese Jadeite Jade, which is being offered in our Fine Jewelry Auction. These exceptional pieces of type A Jadeite Jade are complimented by 18KT gold, and some include south sea pearls, diamonds, and/or emeralds. Brian Kuebler concludes the tour with a close look at the finely crafted Cherokee Native American baskets being offered in our Decorative Art Auction. Kuebler highlights a few spectacular examples and discusses the basketry techniques behind their creation.

Our Signature Week begins with our Fine Art Auction, which opens for live-online bidding on Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00 am, following the next day, Thursday, December 11th, with our Fine Jewelry Auction, which opens for live-online bidding at 10:00 am, and concludes on Friday, December 12th, with our Decorative Art Auction, which opens for live-online bidding at 10:00 am.
