Best known for his depiction of hunting dogs, Percival Leonard Rosseau, was an adventurous individual who embraced the outdoors, both as a sportsman and artist. Rosseau studied and exhibited in France, where he garnered the attention of one particularly influential collector who transformed the course of his career.
