Learn about the innovative artist and jewelry designer, Wallace Chan, with our Fine Jewelry Assistant Director, Allie Masem. Chan began his work as a gemstone carver at the age of 17. His work challenges traditional boundaries of craftsmanship and material, redefining contemporary jewelry art. In 2019, his piece A New Generation was acquired by the British Museum for its permanent collection. Chan’s creations have been exhibited at major institutions worldwide, including the American Museum of Natural History and the GIA Museum.
