The Sporting Life
An Inspired Afternoon with Artist Cameron McIntyre
At the northeast border of Virginia, there is a small town with a population of 250 people. For some, the remoteness of this town could be isolating, but for Cameron McIntyre and his family, New Church, Virginia provides a welcome haven where art and purpose thrive.
Immersed in raw beauty, Cameron takes inspiration from his 18th Century home, real-life experiences, and the art of his predecessors. His thoughtful nature and patience radiates through his art. Cameron stresses the importance of living in harmony with nature and instills this philosophy to his two sons.
Cameron McIntyre is a master woodworker, painter, gunman, cook, and quite probably a few more arts that he has yet to disclose.
Take a moment, relax, and join our Sporting Art Director, Robbie Smith, as we visit the highly acclaimed artist, Cameron McIntyre. Thank you, Cameron and Adele for your hospitality and genuine kindness.
We are currently offering three decoys carved by Cameron McIntyre in our Fall Sporting Art Auction. This auction opens for live bidding on October 12th at 10am. Pre-bidding is available now.
