Both .7mm, bolt action, with 27.75 in. barrels, custom carved walnut stocks with oak leaf and acorn motifs, silver monogram inlay on the butt, one rifle with a barrel marked R. TRIEBEL KAUFBEUREN BAVARIA and affixed with a German sniper scope marked HENSOLDT-WETZLAR / DIALYTAN 4x Nr. 4734; the other rifle with no markings or scope.

Acquired in Germany during the late 1940s. The Private Collection of a Lady

The marked rifle at least came from the renowned gun shop of Robert Triebel. His grandson, Jurgen, still operates the business, though on an international scale.

Working action; a few marks form use; overall good condition.
