Early 20th century, unsigned, time and strike brass movement, hand-painted porcelain dial, this set into a white metal sculpture having a title plate reading "La Confidence Par Peron (sic)," the work cast with the signature "Ch Perron" and a mark stating "Fabrication Francaise / Made in France," the figures are bronzed whereas other elements are finished to variously suggest stone, water or foliage, the whole is set upon a green marble base with gilt metal foliate feet. Key and pendulum are included.
