Belonging to Nellie Franz of Cincinnati, Ohio. The signatures herein were collected at the Cincinnati Music Hall between November 1943 and January 1944. Among the various autographs present, two reading "Charlie Parker" stand out. They are quite different from one another yet resemble known variants of Parker signatures. Additional musicians represented here include Johnny Crescent (bass), Gus Oberstein (violin), Hal Schaefer (piano), Joe Magro (saxophone), Freddie Zito (trombone) and Adele Girard (jazz harp!). Though musicians, especially sidemen, dominate the book's entries, other signatures were collected here from the worlds of vaudeville and magic.
