Probably Virginia, circa 18302, mahogany veneers and mahogany, yellow pine secondary as well as poplar, two-part form, top with astragal moldings over glass doors enclosing a shelved interior above four side-by-side cock-beaded drawers with a fine burl veneer, the lower case with fall front desk featuring a divided interior above two graduated cock-beaded drawers, raised on tall turned tapered leg. The fall front decorated with banded quarter rounds, the stiles with three inlaid panels with burl veneer.
