Late 19th century, of baluster form, the rim, neck, and base with gilt rocaille scrollwork against a pastel ground, each side painted in polychrome enamels depicting a courting couple and landscape setting, the paintings flanked by applied classical female and acanthus gilt bronze handles, set on a conforming socle and raised on a canted square base. Vase interior marked with blue interlaced "L's."
