Lot Details & Additional Photographs
(New York: William Hall & Co., 1836), a title page and index precede 63 hand-colored maps with tissue overlays, folio (15.25 x 13 in.) embossed covers with gilt title on front, leather spine.

This atlas updated the 1835 edition to show a railroad running from Philadelphia to Newark. California is still depicted within "The United States of Mexico."

The front cover is dis-bound; the spine deteriorated and the back cover loose; tissue overlays, though present, show various degrees of foxing; the maps retain bold colors and are generally clean. 2 in. split to the right edge of the Maryland/Delaware map; loss to upper right margin of the Mexico map.
